Presentation: Climbing Mt. Slesse in the North Cascades

  • Wednesday, April 23, 2014

  • REI College Park, 9801 Rhode Island Ave, College Park, MD 20740

Registration is closed
Head on over to College Park REI to hear local climbers Bill Dudley and Naz Ahmed relive their epic climb up Mt. Slesse in British Columbia. A striking peak just across the U.S. border, its appearance aptly lends itself to its Native American name, meaning 'fang.' Bill's and Naz's climb represented more than just survival - it is a well-regarded achievement within North American alpine circles.
