Mountain Project says about Cannon Cliff "Cannon Cliff is the tallest and most respected cliff in New England. The climbs are long, the weather is bad, and the rock is exfoliating. Every climber who heads up to do a route on Cannon understands that the undertaking is a considerable one.

This is not to say that the routes are bad, however. The popular routes ascend pristine granite and can be over ten pitches long. Just don't stray from your chosen route, as you may find yourself in one of Cannon's many heavily eroded vertical gullies."

Regarding Rumney, MP has this to say "Rumney is one of the premier sport climbing destinations in the country. This area has become a focal point of hard sport climbing, with climbers from all over the world visiting during the fall season. "

These two destinations require that you are an experienced outdoor climber, either sport or trad, and that you either have or are a leader, and have or are a follower.  THIS IS NOT A MENTORED TRIP.

We'll be camping at the Lost River campground. It's secluded yet has hot showers and real toilets and one of our sites has electricity to charge your screen.  Bring all your equipment and food.  The campsite is provided.
