Join us for an unforgettable climbing trip to the Boulder area in Colorado during the week of 20-28 JUN. website on Kelly Dahl Campground

Mountain Project:

Boulder Canyon - mix of sport and trad, heavier on the sport

Eldorado Canyon - solidly trad area (think Seneca/Gunks ratings)

Flatirons - mostly slab route, sometimes runout but always fun

Lumpy Ridge RMNP - beautiful, long alpine/semi-alpine routes on granite.  Longer drive and approach (about an hour+ each)

The Club will help to: coordinate air transportation to and from Denver International Airport (DIA), help arrange rental cars at DIA (not a Club paid expense) and help arrange hotel rooms on the last night in Denver if desired (not a Club paid expense).

Once you register you will receive an email with a link to the spreadsheet

What you are responsible for:  flight expenses, all personal camping/climbing gear and food, split of the car rental fees and gas (depends on number of attendees), split of hotel room in Denver on our last night (if desired), arranging for your own climbing partner and camping situation.

What the Club is paying: The Club will cover the cost of two (2) campsites at the Kelly Dahl National Forest CG.  Space is limited to 8 people at each site.  Depending on the number of registrants you may need to share a tent.

Itinerary is as follows:

20 JUN (Saturday) - Fly from DC area to DIA; meet at DIA rental car area; pick up rental cars and begin drive to Kelly Dahl.  While enroute, pick-up necessary groceries and other supplies in Denver or Boulder.

21-27 JUN - Climb

27 JUN (Saturday) - Climb in the morning and leave for Denver or Boulder that afternoon if getting a hotel room. Arrive at hotel.  Drivers return rental cars and get shuttle back to hotel.  We'd also like to arrange a group dinner on Saturday night...TBD.

28 JUN (Sunday) - Fly back to DC

There are several other Club members that are not located in DC that may join this trip. If this is you, please sign up so you can be accounted for as we arrange the camping and other logistics issues. You will need to pay for your own car entrance fee.
