This months presentation:

Alpinism and Mountaineering Courses

Hoping to break into alpine climbing and mountaineering, Edith Han took some extra time and money to take courses with an established guiding and instructional organization. After months of deliberation and asking around, she decided to take courses in the Alpine Mountaineering and Technical Leadership (AMTL) series with the American Alpine Institute (AAI).

Edith will describe her experiences taking Alpinism 1 and the AMTL 2 courses this past June. During this time (18 days), she hung out on Baker for many days, climbed in Leavenworth, and explored Washington Pass. She will cover the course itinerary, things she wished she knew, what she did, and more (aka the good, the bad, and the ugly).
