Our Section has made a donation in the amount of £185.00 to the Lineham Farm Childrens' Centre in memory of our fellow Section member, climbing partner and friend Ian Shevill.

A note was returned to us that reads:

Thank you very much for your donation. It really means a lot to me and to Lineham Farm Childrens' Centre. Ian loved adventure and we hope lots of children have fun and get to try new things with the help of your donation. In honour of Ian, please make sure you have more adventures and experience as much as you can of this world!

“From the Shev's life was one great adventure and we hope that by supporting this charity we will enable lots of children from Leeds (where Ian grew up) to get a taste for adventure and trying out new things.  Lineham Farm Children's Centre allows children from Leeds to spend time doing a number of indoor and outdoor activities including rock climbing which Ian was passionate about.”
