?Sugarloaf 11:30 AM May 4th at the Eastview parking area. We will work on? 1) how to extend the belay so

you can see your partner 2) different ways to help a second through a crux including 3 to 1, 5 to 1, and 6 to 1

?pulley systems.? 3) How to lower a second from different anchor systems and 4) if we have time - learning

?basic load transfer systems with munter mule knots and how to use these to escape a belay, pick your

injured second off the cliff and rap down. We will not cover leader rescue systems but the basics of what

you learn here will be used when you take the next step of a leader rescue scenario. ?I think we'll have to

limit this to about 10 -12 ?folks for a manageable size group.
